In this week’s episode, Peter Gurry joins Jared Bumpers to discuss “Preaching the New Testament.” Dr. Gurry is an associate professor of New Testament at Midwestern Seminary. His academic interests range across the history and formation of the Bible, Greek grammar, and the history of New Testament scholarship. He has written for popular and academic outlets, published four books, and presented his research at conferences in the U.S. and Europe. He and his wife have six children and one cat. Before coming to Midwestern, he served as a pastor at Whitton Avenue Bible Church in central Phoenix. He has been known to enjoy cheap fast food, good typography, and a good Jack London story.
