Meade (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Professor of Old Testament at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he joined the faculty in 2025 after more than thirteen years of teaching in seminary classrooms (including at Phoenix Seminary). He teaches courses in Hebrew language and exegesis, and serves as Co-Director of the Text & Canon Institute. A respected scholar and author, Dr. Meade has contributed to works such as The Biblical Canon: Collections and Codification (coauthored) and numerous studies on Old Testament textual criticism, canon formation, and Septuagint-related topics.
